- Windows 7 had already been released before Spirent really began work on USB drivers for an OS other than Windows XP
- Hence the automatic transition from Windows XP was to Windows 7, bypassing Windows Vista
- Users 'may' find that Spirent's Windows 7 drivers are compatible with Windows Vista and are welcome to try them
